The Power of Female Friendships

These last few weeks, I’ve been reminded of the magic in the female-to-female connection. As women we understand each other in a deep way. It is a bond. The women in my life really provide me emotional and mental strength. They give me validation, they give me understanding, they give me confidence – they remind you who you are when you get lost. They help you see you the way they see you. They pick you up (sometimes after one too many tequila shots). Us women keep your darkest secrets and celebrate your brightest moments. We pass you the Kleenex. We send you memes. We share beauty products. We send you quotes. From barbies to bras to boys to babies to…botox… we support each other.

I recently started a new job and the night before I started, Shosh surprised me with flowers, tequila, office snacks and a card reminding me life is an adventure. On my first day in the office – I saw a beautiful orchid on my desk. My Genevieve brought color to my workspace and a note to remind me I am a shining star. The other day I had some financial questions and So was there – bright and early to shed some light on money + adulting. These recent gestures reminded me how lucky I am. I treasure you all and may our friendships last a lifetime. xoxo
