Spring Reading
The Couple Next Door - This needs to be a movie. It is filled with twists and turns. Fast-paced thriller I finished in one seating.
The Last Thing He Told Me - Compelling premise but during points not realistic and an underwhelming ending. Reese, you disappointed me here!
Think Like A Monk - A lot of the time these “self-help” books can seem repetitive but I was intrigued to learn about Jay Shetty’s time in the monastery it just fell flat.
The Dream Daughter- My new favorite book. A little science fiction, a little history, and a lot of emotions. A beautiful love story between a mother and daughter Incredibly moving and brilliantly funny. If there is any book you read from this post make it this one. Trust me. (Little note, thanks honey for this special gift)
The Silent Sister - Written by the same author of The Dream Daughter, Dianna Chamberlain. A book filled with family secrets but a bit predictable.

Winning The War in Your Mind - Important reminder of the power of our thoughts. I enjoy the scripture embedded throughout. Simple but insightful.
Maybe You Should Talk To Someone -A memoir where the author shares her experience in therapy as a therapist and sessions with her clients. While I admire the vulnerability and enjoyed the personal stories shared, I do find myself struggling to connect with certain chapters.
