Overnight oats
filling + fiberlicious
My go-to breakfast is a smoothie but every once in a while I like to switch it up. Sometimes to a loaded avo toast or overnight oats. I love regular oatmeal but I don’t always have the time to make it on the stove (Little note, making microwavable oatmeal freaks me out) so being able to prep this the night before is perfect. I personally make my overnights in a mason jar so it is easy to travel if need be.
1. Mix 1/2 cup of oat or almond milk with 1/3 cup of steel-cut oats
2. Add 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 tablespoon of chia seeds +1/4 teaspoon vanilla (and sometimes a sprinkle of stevia when I want it a little sweeter)
3. Stir all ingredients in a mason jar and place in the fridge for at least 4 hours but overnight is best
4. Top with berries, nuts, or your favorite nut better
7. Enjoy!
