Loubs please

The first designer shoe that led to my red bottom obsession

Christian Louboutin heels are one of most iconic shoe out there and I was determined to get my hands on a pair. I had set my mind on purchasing my first pair at the Christain Louboutin boutique at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City. I remember first trying them on - How the pop of red made me feel - Sexy and powerful. As I had been wanting these killer heels for some time now, I was in no surprise when I was told the total upon check out. It put a dent in my checking account but finally I owned a pair of red bottoms. In order to justify to steep price tag, I purchased a pair of their classic Pigalle Plato 100 mm in black patent leather. That way I could wear them to the office but also out with the girls. The platform in this style added a bit more support but honestly, they were still uncomfortable. Side note: There are definitely other designer brands out there that offer a more comfortable heel, for example Gucci, but if you are set on the loubs you have to accept the pain that comes with them.

A few tips when investing in your first pair of high end heels stick to a reasonable height, neutral color and please don’t have this be the reason put you in debt or add to existing debt. Trust me.
