Even before covid - I haven’t been the type to glam it up for vday. I much rather prefer an intimate setting where my partner and I can disconnect from the world and have real quality time. One of my favorite ways to spend time with him is just to cozy up with a movie, pizza, maybe a glass of wine and of course some dessert - and that is exactly how I plan to spend celebrating love day. You are probably seeing all the vday gift guides, outfit inspos and dinner date spots on social media - so I wanted to go a different route + share with you a free way to add some ambiance on the 14th. You can listen to this playlist as you cook dinner together or slow dance to it in your sweatpants. For all my single ladies - remember a loved one doesn’t always mean a boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, partner, etc. It can absolutely be your bff of mom. Growing up my brother + I were always mom’s valentines and to that was always special to me. However, you choose to celebrate vday remember it is always nice to remind someone you love how special they are whether it is through a thoughtful text or a romantic night in - share the love.
